As I have said many times, law enforcement is a dangerous profession. That being said, we are grateful for the 29 years of faithful service that Tim Pratt gave in service to his community and his nation. May his daughter and sons and fiancee remember him as a man who stood tall in the Thin Blue Line.

Another New York State Trooper has died in the line of duty. My thoughts and prayers are with the New York State Police, New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and of course New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo at this time of mourning for the loss of one great New York State Troopers who was killed by a car while aiding a tractor trailer driver whose tractor trailer had broken down or got stuck. I know his name will be added to the memorials in both Albany and Washington, DC come May. My prayers are also with his two sons, daughter and fiancé at this time as well. You will be missed by all.
