Your sacrafice and courage made everyone in america proud to have you among police. I'm not a cop. Just a private citizen. But in my mind, no cop who leaves us in the line of duty, anywhere, in any jurisdiction, at any time in our history, is a name that is ever forgotten or a life that fades in importance. Quiet the contrary. Rather, that person lives on in our hearts with respect and admiration. Thank you for choosing this profession, Officer Zerebny and Officer Vega. And all Officers past, present, and future. I'm certain there is a special place in Heaven for those who end this watch but begin a new one even greater.
