Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Blake Curtis Snyder

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the St. Louis County Police Department. Our country is much less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

Officer Snyder, thank you sir for your service. To be murdered by this coward who apparently ambushed you as you arrived on the scene, is an injustice to the law abiding citizens of the State of Missouri. This killer can never again be allowed to see the light of day as a free man. Hopefully he gets what he has coming to him. We will keep your family and Department in our thoughts. Please watch over us as we carry on.

If there is a better family or a better person than Blake, I don't know who it would be. Blake always had a smile, great person, loving father and husband and had so many more years to bless us with when he was taken away so soon. Bless his family and fellow officers. Hopefully they realize that our prayers and good wishes go with them during this difficult period.

As a grateful citizen and honorably retired LEO from SoCal I am deeply saddened by the continual assault on LEO's across the nation. Warriors will not retreat and evil must be confronted. Your mission will continue and the brothers and sisters standing the thin blue line will carry your memory for......hero's remembered never die. In 1995 an officer (and friend) from my agency was killed in the line of duty. That day is etched in my soul and his sacrifice will never be forgotten. God bless you and your family Officer Snyder.
