It always breaks my heart personally and very deeply when one of our own lays down his or her life to protect others' who'd take their life in the furtherance of breaking the laws we've sworn to protect. Rest easy sir and know you will always be missed. 1*

I remember April of 1970 when four of our bravest officers were killed by two known felons. The pain never leaves. I lost 6 more brothers over the years I was with the CHP. We never met but yet we are brothers. God bless you and your family and rest assured you will never be forgotten. To your partner; sways remember your partner, his bravery and never forget what his service and loyalty meant to all of us. Semper Fi..
