To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 101st anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Detective Johnson, you worked hard to help protect one of America's greatest assets, it's Railroads and for that we all owe you our gratitude. How tragic that it cost you your life and your wife, her husband.

A railroad cop has never had an easy job yet day in and day out, the women and men, such as yourself go out and do it. My Dad did for about 5 years on the New York Central before moving on to my hometown PD. His days on the RR (in a few capacities) were some of his happiest.

God Bless you Brother and may your eternal rest ever be peaceful.
