The Border Patrol, more than anyone in Law Enforcement, has to have the most frustrating job imaginable. It's like trying to keep a screen house clear of mosquitos where only two sides of the 8 sided structure has screens, and then several people tell you to leave the mosquitos alone.

You and your Brother and Sister Agents are some of the most heroic people in existence and you have my unyielding thanks.

Agent Alvarez, God Bless you and God Bless your family. So long as they keep you in their hearts and minds, I know you will never be far from them nor truly gone.

Rest in Peace, Brother.
