Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Rest In Peace Police Officer Anthony M. Zarate. Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice protecting the citizens of Bellaire, Texas.

I Pray for Peace for your Family, Friends and Co-Workers. I also Pray that the hounds of hell forever pursue those shoplifters that are responsible for your death. May their miserable lives be hell on earth as long as they draw a breath. May their nights be sleepless due to horrific visions of their flesh being burned off while rotting in hell!

Amen.

God's speed brother, though I' never met you, I know you. You see, you & I are brothers. We gave up birthdays, holidays, family re-unions, anniversaries and special events to allow others to participate in those in peace.
But in what we loss, we gained so much more. The pride in protecting & serving our citizens in our communities. pride to in keeping the streets safe for our kids and all others. We worked hard, played hard and lived life to the fullest. We savored sweet times and memories to get us through those rough days when nothing went right. Days when we pulled kids out from under the chassis of a car. Days when we had to handle a suicide that seemed so senseless. Those days when we saw abused women and children and it took something from us. We gave our lives piece by piece and some, like you, gave it all at once. Yea, I know you and I love you.

I'll see you someday my friend and we'll share an eternity together at the feet of Jesus who will take away all those hurts we endured here. RIP bro.
