Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Verdell Smith, Sr.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.
Psalm 37:39-40

To the Family of Police Officer Verdell Smith

I was deeply sadden when I heard of the death of Officer Smith. Please take comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29 where he said that there will be a resurrection. This resurrection will occur when there will be no more violence here on earth and all mankind will be living at peace with one another (Rev. 21:3,4). Once again, my deepest condolences to the family.
