This hero died serving mankind in such a noble manner. Often I come to this site and unfortunately see another officer made the ultimate sacrifice protecting his fellow man. To the family, please know that the entire Law Enforcement family hurts with you. We mourn this loss too, and we pray for God's comfort to somehow find its way to you. We send our heartfelt condolences, we sincerely appreciate his service, and we WILL go on doing what we do to protect those we serve. We will persevere in the name of ALL of our brothers and sisters who have fallen. May God richly bless your family at this difficult time, and please continue to pray for all of us across the nation who pin our badge on every day to keep our communities safe.

To are Davey...always will be... and always will be remembered. My father married your grandmother & loved you & your sister as "his grandkids" from the first moment. I met you when they married and instantly knew why he was so proud of you. My living in LA did not afford many visits but I always treasured the time I got to see your mom, dad, sister & you. Your folks raised an incredible person & both my husband & I were so proud to have you join us in the law enforcement profession (both of us retired from LAPD) and know how lucky Phoenix was to have you in their ranks.

Mike receives the "Officer Down" notifications, and instantly knew your name. Hearing that news was one of those moments in time one dearly hopes to never hear...but I did. My heart aches for all your loved ones and know their faith will help ease some of the pain, but filling that hole in the heart seems impossible. I know Police Officers take care of their own & that brotherhood is an incredible I will bank on them doing so.

Mike & I will be attending your services & doing so with heavy hearts but full of pride for who you are, Davey....a great son, brother, nephew, husband, dad & police officer.

May You Rest in Peace & I know my dad & your grandmother greeted you at the Gates of Heaven.
