To the Family of Officer Glasser,

Every time an officer falls, it takes another chip out of my heart. I know the sorrow and pain you are going through and I pray the God will carry you through this great loss. Officer Glasser served his country, his community and his fellow officers with integrity and honor. We will never forget the sacrifice he made when he chose to stand up to protect us from those who seek to do us harm. A true Hero.

Today as I write this, I have just heard of the death of Officer Glasser. May his wife, daughter, and son remember this day all their lives the sacrifice of their father, who "stood in the gap" between the good citizens of Phoenix and the purveyors of evil. There are no memorials for criminals.

Chief Yahner and Mrs. Glasser,
I am so sorry for your loss, as no words will ever make this go away or feel any less overwhelming for you in these coming days. I had a near death experience five years ago during training and only received a small glimmer of the travesty you must endure. Three years prior to the incident I was at the FBINA where we greeted all of the spouses and children in three large buses as they came to be counseled and have a full day of fun with their extended law enforcement families. I began to weep after the spouses and children seemed to keep on flowing off the buses. They flowed way too long and it hit me in such a monumental way. There have been so many brave men and women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Know that you are loved by all of your law enforcement family Mrs. Glasser and you will never ever be forgotten. My wife and I had never asked for anything from anyone up until that day, but my wife and dropped our stupid prides and took the help our family wanted and needed to give to us. I will keep you in my prayers. Give all this pain and suffering to God. I thought I was invincible and needed no one and how far I was from reality. Seek God’s love and he will give you comfort Mrs. Glasser.
