Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jack Brock

I am the grandson of the late Jack Brock, Sr. He left behind his wife Elva Mae and fifteen childreen (10 sons and 5 daughters): Jack, Jr., Jimmy, Wayne, Johnny, Timothy, Ronnie, Gary, Joe, Danny, & James - Mildred, Linda, Victoria, Carolyn, & Kathy.
To hear my father speak, life was very hard back then; however, they always had enough. I never knew my grandfather, but I know he must have been a teacher at heart because through my father I have learned the value of hard work - sometimes undesired. I have come to know the joy of spending valuable time with my father as well and cherish every moment! I am now twice the age my father was when his father left him, and I can't imagine not having my father here with me.
Thank you Papa Jack for your service and sacrifice for a better Harlan County. Those who knew you and know of you remember and miss you...

Ronnie G. Brock, Jr.
