When we lose a brother or a sister in our ranks it makes the thin blue line a little thiner, but it strengthens our resolve in the job we do and to pay homage to the Hero we just lost. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family, the department family and friends. May God give you the strength and peace to get through the days ahead .May he hold you in the hollow of his hands, may his light of love shine down upon you and the wings of angels shelter from from harm . You have done your job with pride, honor and sacrifice. It is now time for you to reap your heavenly rewards. Go with God, you will not be forgotten here.

Carl damn brother I still can't believe your gone. We had some good times. From the discussions we had while working a unit. Or me giving you crap about you going out and buying that poly ar, or you smoking those grape swishers. So tonight I will go out and smoke half a grape swisher and put the other half in my trunk to smoke later. Until we see each other again fair winds and following seas.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
