Your tour is done, your shift is over and now you stand at heavens door. You know that God has a place for you because there is no greater love than a man who shall give his life for you. We know this surely as we know that you will not be forgotten because you now have the not so lonesome privilege of being a number on a wall. You are now well protected and we all mean well. I PRAY THAT YOUR WIFE AND SIX CHILDREN WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN BY YOUR DEPARTMENT OR THE PENSION FUND YOU PAID INTO. GOD BE WITH THEM BECAUSE YOU SADLY ARE ALREADY.

A Prayer for Trooper Thomas Clardy:

Lord God, you are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our Brother-in-Blue, Trooper Thomas Clardy, of the Massachusetts State Police, was suddenly and violently taken from us in the Line-of-Duty. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Deepest regrets for this needless loss of a fine officer of the law. There should be heavy penalties for people like this person who hit the officer. At least a long period in Prison. I cannot even imagine the pain the family and fellow officers are going thru. But I do feel their anger at this senseless action the person has done. Again my deepest sorrow for your family
