It is sad enough that we lose officers out there on the streets of America while trying to make our communities crime free and a safe place to live, but to also lose officers to loose officers in a needless preventable traffic accident i totally mind boggling.

I have always preached to my criminology students that one of the first rules of survival should be to totally environmental aware at all times.

My heart goes out to our fallen brother and his family, may God find him a place where he can find eternal peace. Stand down my brother for your watch has ended.
