Reflections for Police Officer Ashley Marie Guindon

My heart goes out to her family. I am the same age as her and I cannot stop thinking about this. I keep replaying the scenario in my head trying to think of how things could have been done differently, but the reality of it is an ambush is just unpredictable and sometimes unavoidable. SIP to my sister in blue.

I sense a loss which creates an emptiness I cannot fill with words. What will help to fill that void over time, is the goodness that is now growing from the seeds you planted
in your life and when you were helping others. These caring ripples in the pond that you started never fade.
I am sending my prayers and deepest respect.
Dear Lord.

My heart aches for Officer Guindon. What a tragedy!
On her first day of official duty at her dream job! These are senseless times, with no regard for authorities.

I did 30 years, with two near death events! All we want to do is to Protect and Serve, and go home to our families.

My prayers and Condolences go out to family and friends, and members of the Prince William County Police Department.

Thank you for your unselfish, dedicated and courageous service to our Great Nation.
