Reflections for Police Officer Ashley Marie Guindon

The moment you take the oath your forever blue. While your tour on earth was short, your tour in heaven walking the streets of gold will last forever and nobody will ever cause you harm there. Reunite with those who have gone before you and your family here on earth should know you were part of another family where race, creed, and the only color that mattered was blue. Marines guard the Pearly Gates and Officers walk the beat there I guess you will do double duty but never have to worry again. You will not be forgotten and while your sacrifice was the ultimate price and you will never be replaced here on earth to your family, know this, they have hundreds of thousands of new sons and daughters who will look after them. Rest well good and faithful servant.

Dearborn Police Department, retired line-of-duty disabled

Officer Ashley Guindon, I am saddened that your life has been taken. The man who shot you lost control of his thinking, and entitled himself to take your life, and attempt to kill other officers, too.
May the God who loves you, receive you into His place for all eternity. Rest in peace.

Sgt. (Ret) Bernard Beck
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept.

When one of us harmed, we are ALL harmed.
When one of us dies, a little piece in each one of us dies.
But the most and strongest tribute is for us to go to work each day, and do our jobs the best we can.

My sincerest and deepest condolences to the Family and her Department.

Once you take the oath and put on that badge your a part of the Blue Line. I was heart broken when I heard the news, as a former FTO I know the eagerness of a rookie officer. I can't even begin to understand what the PW County Police are suffering with this tragic loss. I will ask the Lord to welcome Officer Guindon to the Roll Call room in Heaven to take her seat with all the fallen heroes present. God Bless .
