Nate,
You may not remember me but I remember you. I grew up in Park County. You as well as the rest of the long time LEOs at PCSO were such a huge and significant part of my life. My second family and my guardians. It was you all who taught me right from wrong, taught me to respect the police, taught me to never fear LEOs because they would always be there when I needed them. The kindness of an officer is something I will never forget.
My heart aches knowing that your life was cut short. My heart aches for your family, friends, brothers and sisters in blue, and our community. We have lost a hero and an amazing person. I pray your beautiful soul may now rest in peace. You are a true hero. We See You

Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:

“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”

I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for over five years. Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.

Our faith helps us to see beyond the grave.

We were decorating the Pirate House for Halloween in Will-O-Wisp Sub Division a few years ago and you stopped by our house and introduced yourself. You said your Department would be just right down the street if we needed anything and thanked US! Your smile could of warmed up the world. We were touched that you cared so much for our Community when we thought we were just a "Traffic Nightmare" to your Department. We so valued your and your Departments involvement every year. We are truly heartbroken that you were stolen from us. It will always leave a deep void in all our lives. To your Family and loved ones, our Prayers surround them! Rest now...

Nate,

You once told me you had ventured out of Bailey to see what Denver (the big city) had to offer you...and then quickly followed up with how you turned right back around and returned home. You knew this is where you were meant to be! Rest assured, your spirit will live on here. I humbly thank you for all your dedication and service in protecting us and our kids over the years.

May you eternally rest in God's loving arms!
