Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray, “Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, family and loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”

I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for the past four years. Feel those prayers. God is with you, He knows and will ease your pain.

Faith helps us see beyond the grave.

To The Family of Police Officer Thomas Cottrell

My deepest condolences to the family. I was sadden when I read about the death of Officer Cottrell. Please take comfort in Jesus words found at John 5:28,29 where he said that there will be a resurrection. Just think of that time when we will see our loved ones again, in paradise conditions, here on earth.

I heard on the news that two more police officers were shot in the line of duty. This is just wrong. I'm deeply saddened that Police Officers Barney and Richey were shot with Officer Barney dieing from his wounds. It just feels wrong for any of our brave police officer to be willing to put his/her life on the line, and not be kept safe. We demand that they help us when we're in trouble, but at the same time they need to demand that they be kept safe as well. No amount of money would be worth any job where you might die that day.
I feel so badly for their families.
I looked at the long list of officers who died in the line of duty. I think we as citizens need to make a huge fuss so that law makers will make stronger laws for anyone harming a police officer, and come up with better protection for our officers. When a police officer gets shot at work its just so wrong.
I send my prayers and condolences to their families.
It is a dangerous world when police officers can't go to work without getting shot.
I'm sure our police officers don't get paid enough to accept this type of danger. Something needs to done to protect our brave police officers, so they can return home to their families following their shifts. I have heard about bullet proof material and body suits. We as citizens need to unite and support these protection suits for our officers, no matter the cost, or how much our taxes might go up to pay for them. You can't put a price on human life! These brave men and women deserve better. Something needs to be done to protect them. Its time for citizens to demand that our police officers are better protected no matter the cost.

So sorry to hear of this incident. This story hits home for me. As a christian who specializes in on-site prayer for people in hazardous occupations, I have logged numerous visits to several law enforcement barracks in my county, and have sat in my vehicle, in the parking lot of my local municipal police departments, and prayed for their safety. My condolences to his family.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.
