A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the San Bernardino Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

Having lost my son, Pontiac Police K-9 Officer, Casey Kohlmeier, and his partner, Draco, in the line of duty to a drunk driver on October 30, 2013, I feel the loss of this hero's family and community. May God surround you all with his gracious arms and comfort you during this devastating time. My prayers are with you all. Please know that your hero is in the presence of other blue brothers and sisters that have also given their lives to protect and serve their community and be assured that he will never be forgotten. Lean on your blue family for love and comfort as we have done for the past 2 years. They will be your ultimate strength. May he rest in peace in heavenly paradise until we all join them again.
