To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 75th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Henry Brinkmeyer was my great-grandfather. Although he died many years before my birth I knew him through the countless stories from my great-grandmother, Katherine Brinkmeyer and my grandmother, Helen Ellison.
It was so heartwarming to see this tribute and to know that he is honored for his brave contributions to the City of Middletown. I thank you from all of my family.

Dear Chief Brinkmeyer,

I am proud to be the first to be among your reflections. You see, I come to this website daily because I am collecting angels to pray for grandpa and me. Our health is failing and I was beginning to think I had no purpose left on this earth. And in a strange way, God saw my depression and brought me to you. Now we can add you to our prayer list and you can pray for us from up above. Our son recently lost his partner in an auto rollover and this was our first experience loosing a hero while in the line of duty.

Thank you for your years of dedicated service. May your family find comfort and peace in God's mercy and grace. Rest well dear soul. We love you and everything you stood for. Someday I hope we meet for we know that life is eternal. In the meantime, please watch over all of us.
