It is with sadness that we hear about another brother being killed by a criminal.

As a longtime law enforcement officer and having to bury several deputies over the years it always grieves me when a law enforcement officer dies at the hands of someone that is involved in continued criminal activity.

Our prayers are for Officer Holder's family and well as the men and women of the NYPD.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the New York City Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
