Many people have seen the Thin Blue Line symbol. But few actually know what it means.

The top half is black, which symbolizes the good in society. The bottom black half represents the criminal element in society. The middle blue line represents the law enforcement community, which stands between the two, to prevent them from becoming intertwined. It is the only thing that stands between peace and chaos; civilization and ruins; good and evil.

But for some it means a little more than that. It means that when this job knocks you down, your comrades pick you back up. When you break down, they fix you. And when you are gone, you are not forgotten.

We love and miss you Sister in blue.
