Deputy Goforth, First of all may you rest in peace. My thoughts are with your family and your department. This murder makes me so angry because it was nothing more than a 'Hate Crime' just because you wore a uniform!

Please know that my family and my former colleagues share your grief, and that you are all in our prayers and thoughts. I will stick a Thin Blue Line sticker on every number 8 gas pump at every gas station each time I fuel up as a tribute to Deputy Goforth's service and his memory, and to show solidarity with everyone in law enforcement everywhere. Deputy Goforth you have walked the walk and talked the talk of being a law man which is something most people never get to do. Police work is a thankless job but we do it because we are special people who think we can make a difference in peoples lives. We do it knowing that is our lives are at risk. We believe our calling came from God and I for one believed it then and I still do. I grieve the loss of a brother who gave his all for no reason. Every stop a police officer makes can be the last stop they will ever make. I pray for your soul and I pray for your family and the brothers in blue you worked with. God said "be still for I am God. I will not leave you or forsake you". God bless you my friend.
