We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past, Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire.

Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Railroad Police agencies seem to be slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is a travesty. For all of those who still serve to protect one of the main things that made America what it is today, and for all who preceded them, we, as a nation, owe our thanks.

The tragic accident you endured is just one of the ways Railroad Police face danger that, as a rule, the rest of us do not. I have little doubt, you remained a loyal and loving father and husband and even after your passing, watched over the rails.

God Bless you Brother and may your rest be eternally at peace.
