I have not been back to Ohio for the past 6 years and drove through Cincinnati on the way early the morning of the 19th. I had forgotten what a huge city it is and how much area the police have to cover to protect the citizens of that community and all those driving in and out of the local area. Thank you for your 27 years years of service above self for the citizens of Cincinnati, the State of Ohio and this great Country. You will not be forgotten by your brothers and sisters of The Thin Blue Line. My heartfelt condolences to your family, your department, fellow Officer, friends and those you faithfully served. Rest in eternal peace.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.

I worked with Sonny early in our careers in District 2. He was a FANTASTIC PERSON both on and off the field. I will miss his goofy sense of humor. My heart goes out to his wife and 3 sons and I thank all of you for your kind words and prayers. He lived and died in the same community he served and loved. Take Care of yourself and each other.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.
