What an honor it must have been to serve at the hands of an upstanding man such as, Sheriff O'Connor. So many in his position would have stayed safely in their office while their deputies took care of this. It says a lot about the person he was that he joined in their efforts to catch these people. I am sure it is of no comfort to his family and friends right now, but it is certain, he died a hero. God Bless them as they face the future without him by their side. Give them strength and remind them that You are always by their side. When they are too weak, You will be their strength. I know Sheriff O'Connor is resting in Heaven after serving his last Call of Duty.

God Bless you for every beat you walked so others could rest safely at home.
