Nigel was a hard working, devoted officer. For someone his age I was amazed at his zest for police work. Every day at roll call he was like a kid ready for summer break, ready to be unleashed upon the world. Nigel would work twice as hard as the rookies, without much flair about him...he was just doing his job. I will never forget you going 54 in the "car park" at Walmart, or responding to dispatch with a "cheers." I will never forget riding ATVs together for the department. You were a good friend and I will never forget you brother. I know with you, Anthony and Germaine watching over us that we will NEVER WALK ALONE!

Watch over us and protect us while we continue on down here!

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Rio Rancho Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
