So sorry for the pain the family has to endure and the loss of a great law enforcement officer. If you have never been a reserve or special it takes more commitment and dedication on their part to take on such a great responsibility than it does being a regular full timer. In addition to their regular job of forty hours or more, they're sacrificing time away from their family and friends to do something few can or would. All while receiving little or no pay.
Thank you Deputy Smith for your ultimate sacrifice. God Bless and keep your family.
