Reflections for Police Officer Nicholas G. Finelli

Nick's locker was next to mine in the 44pct, 1985-1987. We were cops on patrol at that time. We shared many jokes. He was a good man and loved his family. Rest in peace

One of the many amazing men and women who gave so selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. Thank you for your service and please know that your sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren. Rest in peace always.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Rest well my brother. You have made the ultimate. That EPA idiot saying that the air quality where the buildings fell, we're safe. Now, way over 100 of us are gone, and many more will soon follow. But, may all know that you died helping so many people, and we all should thank you for that. You are still alive in the hearts of so many of us who still mourn your loss. It will be my honor to meet up with you when it's time.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. We shall never forget our 9/11 heroes.

Rest In Peace.
