Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Detective Angel Antonio Creagh

Rest in peace. Until all of us who were there meet again.

Lieutenant Raymond Flores
NYPD ( Retired)

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

One of the many amazing men and women who gave so selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. Rest in peace always knowing that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for solace and strength for everyone who misses and loves Detective Creagh. We will never forget the sacrifice made by each of the 9/11 heroes and their families.

Happy 4th anniversary in Heaven my brother. I'm still here and wondering when I'll be called to join you. Continue to rest in peace, watch over your loving family and NYPD. You are a hero and we want to thank you for that.

Rest in Peace my brother in blue. All of us who participated in rescue and recovery during those many months, are getting sick. Many of us will soon join you. May God continue to hold you in his hands and bless your loving family. Until we meet.
