For Sergeant Greg Moore:

The law-officer stopping a suspected criminal, for any level of crime, has reason to fear a lethal response no matter whom the suspect might be. Our cautious nature and our willingness to resort to a strong and ready response is well founded.
We regret that our brother Greg would be the next law-officer gunned down by ordinary trash who would slink about in the night breaking into the property of others.
We pray for Greg's family, co-workers, friends and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Sergeant Greg Moore, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Pennsylvania State Police

For Sgt. Moore's fellow law personnel, as well as, his family, may each of you know of the Hope of the Resurrection. Please know that there are civilians who are proud of all LEO, and support the at all times. As volunteers with our local police department, we feel an affinity with each LEO, and feel like they are our sons and daughters. Each time there is a loss, we feel the loss, and wonder why, but we are comforted by the fact that each of them died doing what they do best - serve and protect!
