Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Detective Brian Raymond Moore

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Brian was killed.

To the Moore family, fellow officers, and all who call Brian beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace. I hope that your family knows that a nation mourned for you.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Detective Moore gave to his community and the citizens of New York, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on May 4, 2015.

"Blue Spirited Watch"

Even though the many Law Enforcement Officers from all of our Neighboring Countries around this world have Fallen and Ended their Watch.

Their Devoted Spirits have Risen and are now carrying on their destinies up above in Heaven while awaiting to be rejoined in the distant future by the ones they love.

It's heroes like Detective Moore and his fellow police officers from around the world that makes this place safer for everyone, they are all heroes, it's really really unfortunate that the only time you hear of an officer in the press is when they do something wrong or are killed, they deserve so much more than they get.
I am not from the U.S. I'm from the UK and I'm not in any branch of law enforcement, I am just a normal person who just wanted their feelings about people like Detective Moore. RIP sir you deserve it.
I don't wish to offend anyone by posting this and not being in Law Enforcement, it's not my intentions as I just wanted to pay my respects to this police officer.

It's time for all of this to end! Officer Moore didn't deserve to die and the person responsible should receive the full measure of Justice for this crime. If the person responsible for this act can do this to a Man who has sworn to uphold the law, what is he capable of doing to an unarmed citizen?

The NYPD needs to go after the people who provide weapons to the person(s) responsible for the death of this Officer, as well as, other related deaths or injuries that come to these brave and good Men and Women who are entrusted to protect our lives, property, and communities!

God Bless!

This officer did the right thing and I'm still sorry to hear of his loss and those disrespecting this site and making rude comments. There are a lot of us who share posts of those fallen even in accidents. But this one lost his life trying to keep people in their beds safe. His loss and the lost to the community and his other officers will not be forgotten and many of us will share this with our friends. Keep up the great work you do and please do not let those who disrespect you cause this site to stop making those of us who care aware of those lost. God bless all of you.

For Officer Moore's fellow law personnel, as well as, his family, may each of you know of the Hope of the Resurrection. Please know that there are civilians who are proud of all LEO, and support the at all times. As volunteers with our local police department, we feel an affinity with each LEO, and feel like they are our sons and daughters. Each time there is a loss, we feel the loss, and wonder why, but we are comforted by the fact that each of them died doing what they do best - serve and protect!

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the New York City. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

Brian, we may have crossed paths somewhere in our work day - I only wish I had the privilege to have known you and to have worked with you. You were what every sergeant wanted on their team. I pray for your family, your father a retired sergeant, who was your biggest supporter and confidante I'm sure. You were what every parent took pride in. May God allow you to rest in peace. May your family live life through you. I will work each day, making a difference, in your honor.
