A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Manchester Township Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

For Patrolman Scott R. Thompson:

The law-officer, much like the military person, needs to be in reasonably good physical condition. It is unfortunate that any of us who attempt to maintain ourselves physically would experience a sudden health problem that would take our life. We regret that our brother Scott would be the next law-officer to fall in the process of keeping himself fit. We pray for his family, co-workers, friends and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in some helpful way at this time.
We are proud to render Patrolman Scott R. Thompson, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police
