Officer Simmonds, I did not know you personally and only learned of your death while reading a Policeone dotcom article today. It was heartbreaking reading your story, how you survived the Boston Marathon Bomb Blast only to be taken months later by that same injury. My prayers and condolences to your family for having to go through that pain and horror twice. I hope to meet you one day in heaven.
