Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Paul Michael Ferrara

Another year without you. We miss you so much

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for the solace of everyone who misses and loves Paul. We will never forget the sacrifice made by each of the 9/11 heroes.

Rest In Peace

Hey Paul
It was my pleasure working for a great individual like you. I truly miss you my dear friend. I'll never forget the roll calls we had together and those laughs we shared. It seems like yesterday that I saw you getting that bottle of ginger ale for your ride home and me telling you...see you tomorrow Sarg. God only takes those who are special. Look down upon us brothers and sisters in blue each and guide us and protect us. I know you have our backs...I love you Pauly....see you when I get there brother. Until then look over us.
