Praying that God carries all of you through the loss of your husband, son, friend, and co-worker. Thank you sir for your service and protection. I lived in Philadelphia for 3 1/2 years and I knew some of the violence that could rage in the streets sometimes but it is a beautiful and alive city and I pray that this tragedy does not steal that from you. With Love and prayers from the Agee family.

Officer Wilson, your family, and your department:

First, I want to say thank you for serving in these difficult and often strenuous times. You made a commitment to everyone that knew you, and others of us who have the same responsibility as you carried out day after day. Keeping your family and community safe from individuals who break the law and want to hurt others. With every intention of going home, and doing the same for your partner.
To the family: I am very saddened by the news. I know it is implied that the family knows the risk, but no one is ever prepared for when situations like this happen. I've been to a few of the Concerns of Police Surviors events, also known as (C.O.P.S.) they have a strong support staff. I can't begin to understand the pain and heartbreak that you are going through, if there is one thing I do know it is that you will have a big department continuing the watch, and checking in on your family.
To the Philadelphia Police Department, I'm saddened to hear of our brother Officer Wilson. The remarks by Commissioner Ramsey says a lot about what an impact he made on him. We all know the dangers of the job, whether it is going to be a criminal surprising us, or someone not paying attention on the road, or natural disaster. Law Enforcement Officers from all over will arrive and that is a huge testimony of gratitude for someone that they knew from trainings, or because Officer Wilson performed the same duties as all of us.
May God Bless you and your family and department for the husband, father, and officer you grew up with and appreciated. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss! Rest In Peace Brother Wilson.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Philadeplphia Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
