Reflections for Corrections Officer V Christopher A. Davis

Officer Davis,
On today, the 5th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you to you and your Partner for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Texas. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Chris and I were co workers before he became a Corrections Officer, we worked together in machine shop in Abilene. He was a major influence in my life, a good descent man. We became good friends of those several years. I will never forget how he help me through some tough times , and I was there for him as well when he was going through a rough patch. I was there the day he put his trust in Jesus Christ. I't broke my heart the day I heard of his passing...

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

"Blue Spirited Watch"

Even though the many Law Enforcement Officers from all of our Neighboring Countries around this world have Fallen and Ended their Watch.

Their Devoted Spirits have Risen and are now carrying on their destinies up above in Heaven while awaiting to be rejoined in the distant future by the ones they love.
