Thank you Deputy Whitaker for your willingness to go out and do the difficult job that many of those that have never been in law enforcement, will ever truly understand. You were certainly aware of the trash talk currently in the media and the criticism that will always be there. I recently retired after 20 years as a police officer and know how much more difficult it will get for those left behind. Hats off to you and everyone who will take the challenge and do the job.
