Your heroism and service is honored today, the 128th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect, not even 128 years.

Rest In Peace

Deputy Collector Hamilton, you did an unpopular job but persevered. Lynching is not a good thing and became a popular way for lunatics to express extreme racism. In this instance however I cannot totally condemn those who took the life of your confessed murderer. Justice was swift and final. How sad and disturbing this group of citizens felt the need to take such measures.

God Bless, Deputy Hamilton, and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.
