May the animal who did this, who needlessly took the life of this good, young man, find true justice in the afterlife. He murdered then took his own life, robbing us of seeing justice done in this one.

So long as those who know and love Ptl. Schultz keep him alive in their hearts and minds, he will never truly be gone from them.

God Bless, Brother and may you forever Rest in Peace.

It is sad to read when officer lays down his life especially one from my home state. It is even worse to see that the officer was so young and had really just got into the job yet was cut down so early in his career. All I can offer is my heartfelt condolences to the family and his family in blue that mourn his passing. RIP Brother.

I just read a moment ago that you had passed away Brother. I was praying for your recovery the moment I heard about the incident. I thought about your situation earlier today at Church. I pray now that you're in a better place. One with no more pain, sorrow or tragedy. Thank you for your dedication, service and most of all your bravery. This is heartbreaking, as is all our other line of duty deaths. I will say my prayer for you and all of us tonight.
Goodnight Brother.

As a nation, we are fortunate to have fine, young men like Officer Schultz answer the call of a career in law enforcement. He was taken from us way too soon, but stands now as an example of the selflessness required of police officers everywhere. To his family and friends, all of us that have worn the badge feel your pain and pray that you will find peace. To his department and fellow officers, be proud to have known him, learn from him, never forget him, and God will give you peace, comfort and protection. God bless each of you who wear the badge.
