Reflections for Chief of Police Michael Anthony Pimentel

I spent many wonderful hours riding horses with Michael in Brownsville,tx. We team penned at Rodriguez Arena almost every weekend. We spent many hours at each others homes and supported each other in any way we could. He was a very good friend that I will always miss.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Chief Pimentel,

God bless you, your family and the community you serve.

Everyday, I'm disheartened to realize the horrific cost for our public safety and freedom, which is all too often taken for granted by members of our society.

Rest assured, all your fellow LEO's throughout our great nation, will continue to watch over our communities while you rest in peace.

my condolences for you loss, sadly this officer died unnecessarily by a thug much like Michael brown. YET we don't see the "Obama" sending an entourage from D.C. for this hero's funeral. what we do see is Obama valuing the life of a criminal "Michael brown" to the extent he has sent officials to his funeral. to me though Im not an officer this is disgusting. I hope you who serve the public in law enforcement will remember this at the polls, how these politicians view criminals lives above yours. gain my sympathies.
