Rest in Peace Pat, now you can watch over all who will continue doing what you loved, being a deputy sheriff.
We recently spoke about retiring and moving forward, getting away from all the chaos and watching from the sidelines. I very much enjoyed having you as a friend.
I pray for your family.
You will be missed by many, God bless.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Lay at peace Deputy Scoot, you have protected many and served with courage.

May your family find continuous comfort in the support from all of us that care,

May the 'wall' of strength of all other LEO's lift the surviving family through these difficult days & weeks ahead. Tradition, Honor, Respect to all.

Please, God Bless his family. Without men like him we would be like like a Third World Country. His courage and determination to "Serve and Protect" may have saved the lives of my children or the children of someone else. My brother and his twin daughters are Air Force Pilots and, I can relate to the constant stress this family has had to live with for all of the years he served his Country. I am a Christian and I believe that Our Lord has him resting in Arms now and he will be rewarded greatly for his unselfish love for many who are unaware that their lives or the lives of their families have been saved by Lieutenant Patrick Libertone. god Bless you.
