Reflections for Police Officer Scott Thomas Patrick

Officer Patrick,
May you now go forward in peace knowing you served your community well and although you paid the ultimate sacrifice you will never be forgotten by those who truly knew and loved you.
God bless your family and your brothers/sisters in Blue during this most difficult time.
Thank you for your service

Thank you Scott for helping me recover a car at 'Lucky 13's"...you didn't need to stop, but you did anyway. It was nice to find another friend in a different uniform.

For MHPD, your family and friends, a portion of a letter written by President Lincoln in November of 1864...

“I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic (he) died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
A. Lincoln”
