Patrick Family - We just completed the annual Wheels of Justice Ride - now known as Texas Heroes Ride - and it was a wonderful day to remember fallen heroes. Last year I rode this ride in memory of Scott and although I rode for another officer this year, he certainly was on my mind again.

The support community for First Responders is strong down here in the greater Houston area so please know many prayers are being offered up for all officers like Scott.

God Bless,
Ryan C.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Prayers from Houston, TX. I just rode the Texas Wheels of Justice Bike ride with Scott's name on my wrist band. My Son-in-Law is a PO and his father and I rode this ride together.

The Wheels of Justice ride generates funds for the Police Unity Tour
that raises awareness of officers who have died in the line of duty. http://policeunitytour.com/

Please know you have one more out here praying for Scott's soul and your family's well being and comfort.

God Bless,
Ryan

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Scott was killed.

To the Patrick family, fellow deputies, and all who call Scott beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Officer Patrick gave to his community and the citizens of Minnesota, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on July 30, 2014.
