No passage of time will ever erase your service and sacrifice. Rest in peace always.

This is my Maternal Grandfather. We always heard the story of his death on the motorcycle. He was survived by my Grandmother Frances Drewes, my Uncle William and mother Joan, and they lived on Washington Street in Hoboken. I believe Fanks father, my GG Grand Father, was a top official at the Hoboken Fire Department. Frances moved to River Edge and bought a house where my mother, and later I, was raised.

We can only truly honor our heroes of the present by never forgetting our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 81st anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered
