My heart is heavy for the loss of a fellow Officer. Though retired now, I know first hand the pain such a tragedy has upon an agency and community. Detective Sergeant Baker and Detective Butler were killed in the LOD 2/26/2013 and from that day the lose of any officer has an even more significant place in my heart.
