For Officer Perry Renn:

The law-officer responds to the calls for help no matter what awaits. Too often the result of encounters with lawless rogues ends with the law-officer having been murdered. The essence of our work is to provide safety to others at high risk to ourselves. We regret that Perry would have to be the next law-officer to remind those who are too quick to judge our actions of the high stakes law-officers face everywhere simply doing their job.
We are thankful for those law-officers who responded to bring justice in this case, once again demonstrating that no law-officer stands alone - ever.
We pray for Perry's family, friends, co-workers, and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Officer Perry Renn, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police
