For those who never met or knew Ptl. Kevin Jordan:

Ptl. K. Jordan was a breath of fresh air to the Griffin Police Dept. I worked along side Ptl. K. Jordan as his Corporal on "B Shift". He was an amazing person who loved to help people. I can't remember one time ever hearing him complain about anything. That is extremely rare in law enforcement. He always had a big smile on his face and was so proud to serve his community.

He was a gental giant. He was a big guy which matched his hart. He always took the time to go out of his way to do what he could on every call. I am extremely proud to have served beside him and to be able to call him a wonderful friend. This is not only a great loss to the Griffin Police Dept. but also a loss for the community.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers. They are feeling a terrible loss. We thank you for all your prayers and thank you for taking the time to write a post. He lives through us and will continue to do so as long as we live.

We will always love you kevin. Please watch over us as we continue to do the job you loved so much. R.I.P!!!!!

I was the hiring official that hired Kevin in 2010 while employed with the Griffin Police Department. He was very excited about serving the citizens of Griffin Georgia. He was a "gentle giant" that always practiced "service above self". He loved his children, his friends, his co-workers, and the opportunity to make a positive change in people's lives. My heart is heavy as he will truly be missed. My prayers are with Kevin's family. May you rest in peace my fallen brother Kevin "Shogun" Jordan.

RIP Sir, others now have the Watch. Kudos to your brother for having what it takes to intervene and deploy his sidearm. If he had not done so, the offender may still be loose and a threat to others.
