Reflections for Police Officer Brian Wayne Jones

Big Man, Big Man. I miss you today like no other. A few years have passed but you are still one of the best to ever do it. I know you are up there in heaven cracking jokes and laughing like no other. Love you Buddy.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Brian, I never had the privilege of knowing, I am close friends with officers that you have served with. I have heard the details about that night, and my heart break for you and your family. Know that the thin blue line is a tight knit family and we all feel like we have lost a brother. The bible says greater love have no man than to lay down his life for his friends. You made the ultimate sacrifice, today I salute you for your service. You maybe be gone, but HERO'S live forever.

Brian:

I spent the morning talking with Rebekah after my night shift last night. The kids are starting to smile again. It's something most of us haven't seen since you left us.

I had the privilege of backing you up a few times, and I'm happy I actually got to meet you.

Keep watch over all of us.

God's speed brother.

I miss you so much. Remember the day the calf was born? I can hear you coming into the barn saying "Ah, yuck!" I'm so glad you got to live your dream. You were always protecting people even when you were a tall gawky teenager. I'll always remember your laugh, your quick smile and how we broke mom's table playing spoons.

I am Roger Lynch's sister. It is with much respect and sadness that I add my condolences today. I pray that your family- although never the same has moved on and is happy. I know that "you Brian" would want that. I pray that your children have grown up big and strong and that they are a fine example of their loving daddy as well as their dear mama. Rebekah, our family knows your pain too well. You are in our prayers especially today. I don't know if you knew- but today was also Roger's birthday. I believe with all my heart that Brian and my brother are enjoying heaven with a joy that we have yet to know. Some day we will all be together again. With (((hugs))) and prayers. Judy Coleman

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

I remember in the HBN course when you told us the story of you taking the tractor and harvesting the corn! That was an awesome story! Made everybody in the room laugh! I didn't get a chance to ride with you, but I did have the pleasure of taking with you in several occasions and getting to know you! Thank you for the great memories!

Hey Brian. I was thinking about the night when I was a rookie and my FTI made me ride with you in hopes of getting a DUI for the check off sheet. We never got one, but I remember that night and our conversation like it was yesterday. I also remeber you using the word "stinkin" like it was your middle name. Miss You.
