Brothers and Sisters in Eatonton and in Morgan County.
Noel and I worked together for a number of years in Morgan County in Public safety. Noel was not only a courageous Law Officer, but a dedicated public servant ready to help anyone in need at a moments notice.
I am proud to have worked with such a dedicated professional.
I am very sad to hear of his sudden passing this past Sunday.
Although the loss is great, Noel died doing exactly what he loved....
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hawk family and all public safety personnel that Noel has worked with over his many years in Public Safety. He will be missed. Rest in peace Noel.....We will take it from here !!!

I am still stunned at the news of your passing. I met you all those years ago, when I trained you at the jail. How I could be angry enough with you one minute to strangle you, the you would have me in tears of laughter. Well you have me in tears again tonight my friend. Going to miss our chats. I am honored to have called you friend. Go rest high on the mountain, for your work on earth is done. We got this now my friend.

He went to work that day and did not know
This shift he served would bring such sorrow
This call to duty would be his last
His time on earth is now his past
God set this day as his time to go
Rest in peace Officer Hawk, now a hero
He gave the ultimate sacrifice
With integrity and pride he paid the price
His family, friends and colleagues will mourn
As an angel in heaven he is now reborn
His golden heart stopped beating
Hardworking hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the very best.

On behalf of the Westerville, Ohio Division of Police, our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family of Police Officer Noel Hawk and the extended law enforcement family of the Eatonton, Georgia Police Department. Rest in Peace brother and watch over us.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
